I'm Michael Cooper. I still work in IT full time, and I run Coop Visuals on top of it — real estate media and web design for businesses that want it done right.
Southwest Florida is home.
Most people in Southwest Florida moved here. I grew up here — watched this place go from two-lane roads and orange groves to what it is now. I know the area the way you can only know a place when you've lived your whole life in it.
I still work in IT full time — 9-to-5, and I genuinely love it. Ten-plus years in the field, six of those as a systems administrator managing 300–400 servers and close to 4,000 users. I didn't start Coop Visuals to escape that career. I used it. The way I think about security, scalability, and troubleshooting under pressure is baked into everything I build here.
The web design side started when a family member needed a website. I already had the technical foundation from college and years in IT, so I helped build it. Enjoyed it more than I expected. Built my own. Then kept going. I've built dozens of sites since then — my favorite projects are always the startups, the ones where someone had a real dream and I got to work alongside them from day one. Watching those businesses grow into something that supports their families is the part of this work that never gets old.
The real estate media side started because I fell in love with photography and, honestly, needed a way to pay for the gear. If you know, you know. What started as a side project has become something I take seriously — hundreds of listings, multimillion dollar luxury properties, Airbnbs, everything in between. I've worked with agents from Remax Gulf Coast Living, REAL Brokerage, and Treeline Realty, and some of the best agents SWFL has to offer.
Cooper Farms & community.
Our family is planted here. I've been involved in local youth sports for years, and we've been attending Next Level Church since 2015. We live out in the rural part of SWFL — which means we're raising goats and chickens on what we've proudly named Cooper Farms.
Our family has a story of redemption and God's faithfulness that I'm genuinely grateful for every day. It shapes how I work, how I treat clients, and what I'm building toward.
